Terms & Conditions
We want to keep things as simple and transparent as possible. When you book an experience with MexiGo Travel & Tours, you agree to these terms. Please read them so we're all on the same page.
1. Booking, Pricing & Coupons
All prices are in Mexican Pesos (MXN) and are 100% transparent. Your spot is confirmed once we receive payment and you get a confirmation email. If you have a discount code or coupon, make sure to apply it before you check out, as we cannot apply them retroactively or exchange them for cash.
We need accurate information from you when booking. If you provide incorrect details (like wrong names or ages to get a cheaper rate) and a venue denies you entry, we cannot offer a refund.
2. Documentation & Stadium Access
For some of our tours—especially the Liga MX football matches—you will need physical, official identification (like a passport) for biometric Fan ID registration and security checks. We help with the logistics, but it is entirely your responsibility to bring the right documents. If you forget your ID and are denied entry, we cannot be held responsible.
3. Physical Requirements & Health
Some of our experiences, like the Nevado de Toluca or La Malinche hikes, take place at extreme altitudes (over 4,000 meters). You must be in good physical health to participate. If you have medical conditions that could be triggered by high altitude, physical exertion, or eating local street food, please let us know or sit the tour out. By joining, you assume the financial and physical responsibility for your own well-being.
We do not require proof of vaccinations, but we strongly suggest checking with a doctor regarding travel vaccines and making sure you have adequate personal medical insurance.
4. Assumption of Risk
Travel in Mexico City and its surrounding nature involves inherent risks, from traffic and uneven streets to weather changes, high altitudes, and wildlife. By booking, you release MexiGo Travel & Tours from liability for personal injury, illness, or property loss during the execution of the tour.
5. Insurance & Medical Emergencies
You are covered by our general traveler’s insurance while you are physically inside our private transport vans. However, outside the van—whether you're hiking a volcano, eating tacos, or sitting in a stadium—you rely on your own travel insurance. If you have a medical emergency, we will help coordinate care or get you to a hospital, but you are strictly responsible for any resulting medical bills.
6. Third-Party Operators
We handle the logistics and the hosting, but some parts of our tours (like the Trajinera boats in Xochimilco or park entry at Grutas Tolantongo) are run by third parties. We are not liable for their specific operational changes, sudden closures, or rules.
7. Cancellations & Uncontrollable Events
Sometimes things happen that are totally out of our control—like severe weather, road blockades, or spontaneous museum closures (force majeure). If these events prevent a tour from happening, we aren't liable for the disruption, but we will always do our best to reschedule you or work out a fair solution.
8. Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of Mexico City (CDMX).
